Article on blood pressure med to treat PTSD

So I saw this article last night. It's titled "Can a blood pressure drug help ease the painful memory of an ex?", but, it starts out saying that researchers have started using propranolol to help with symptoms of PTSD. Basically it is taken one hour before a therapy session. During the session you write down the events surrounding the trauma and then read them out loud. It helps reprogram the brain to feel differently about the emotions related to the trauma. I found it fascinating. I was on propranolol for a time but as a treatment for migraines.

It's so interesting to know that meds that are already out there may help us.
